Okay, so I haven’t seen the scene where Spock cries in the TMP movie in a long time because I only have the remastered version and this scene was cut from it. I watched it again and holy shit, it starts at 2:37 in this video. Kirk goes up to Spock and Spock spins around in his chair, showing us that he’s crying. Kirk says/asks, “Not for us?” and Spock answers him like he’s being silly and says, “No, Captain, not for us. For V’ger.”

Nothing can convince me that Kirk is asking if Spock is crying in saddness/happiness over their relationship and that they didn’t become space boyfriends in the sickbay scene. OMFG.

SUCH AN UNDERRATED SCENE, OMG.
