At gatherings of Klingon speakers, some participants “take the vow” for the duration of the conference, promising not to speak in anything except Klingon — a feat even Okrand can’t accomplish. “Sometimes it’s like, ‘What have I done?’ “
As a final grace note, George Takei, who played Mr. Sulu on the TV series and in the movies, is scheduled to make a guest appearance [in this production of Hamlet]. Reblogging this because I’m reminded of the time my younger sister came back from a party SO HIGH (of course I didn’t realize at the time) and joined me in the middle of “Future Imperfect” and wouldn’t stop making “that’s what she/he said” remarks and general snarky/gay comments until (spoiler) Ethan’s true form was revealed and she FREAKED THE FUCK OUT.
